From Seed To Supplement

Nutrilite is the only global vitamin brand to grow, harvest, and process plants on our own certified organic farms.*

Hundreds of fruits and vegetables are grown the way nature intended on our 6,400 acres of farmland spread out across the world – more than any other supplement company in the world – using only sustainable, non-synthetic, and pesticide-free methods.

When the time is right, the fruits and vegetables are carefully harvested then immediately dehydrated and processed while they are at their peak, in order to capture the valuable nutrients in them.

  • STEP 1: DEHYDRATION

    STEP 1: DEHYDRATION

Large dryers are used to dehydrate the plant ingredients collected, until they are in the form of tea leaves.

  • STEP 2: MILLING

    STEP 2: MILLING

Plants are milled so the nutrients are more easily extracted.

  • STEP 3: EXTRACTION/SEPARATION

    STEP 3: EXTRACTION/SEPARATION

Vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and other useful components are extracted.

  • STEP 4: CONCENTRATION

    STEP 4: CONCENTRATION

Nutrients and useful components are boiled at a low boiling point to avoid jeopardising the nutritional content.

  • STEP 5: SPRAY DRY

    STEP 5: SPRAY DRY

The concentrated solution is sprayed onto a hot plate, where water is evaporated in a second while nutrients are kept intact.

  • STEP 6: CONCENTRATE BLENDING

    STEP 6: CONCENTRATE BLENDING

Various nutrients (plant extracts) are blended according to specific characteristics or the nature of different food supplements.

  • STEP 7: KEY CONCENTRATE

    STEP 7: KEY CONCENTRATE

A V-shaped tumbler mixer is used to blend a big amount of plant ingredients at a single time, to produce blended extracts that are high in purity.

  • STEP 8: FINISHED PRODUCT

    STEP 8: FINISHED PRODUCT

Different products are shaped and modelled according to their sizes, textures, and viscosity.
